“The system installed by EQORE at our New Hampshire facility has exceeded our expectations for performance and reporting. We are now looking at deploying additional systems at other facilities.”

Questions facilities ask before they call

How much will I actually save?

It depends on your utility tariff, your load profile and the programs available where you are, so we model your facility rather than quote an average. We price a full year of your interval data through your actual tariff and model conservatively. Our projections are built on real facility data and validated in live operation.

Is my electricity bill high enough for this to make sense?

The best fits are facilities spending $10K+ a month on electricity, typically commercial and industrial sites that pay meaningful demand (kW) charges. If your bill includes a demand charge, it is worth a look. Send us a recent bill and we will tell you quickly, and honestly, whether storage makes sense for your site.

What does it cost upfront?

With shared savings, nothing. EQORE covers design, permitting, installation, operation and maintenance, and shares the savings with you. If you would rather own the system, you can purchase it outright, with a 2–3 year payback for most customers, before tax benefits. The ITC and bonus depreciation are upside on top. Payback includes on-bill savings and utility program revenue; excludes federal tax credits and depreciation. Actual results vary by facility. Your assessment shows projected savings for both options.

Will this interfere with facility operations?

No. The system is installed in parallel to your facility's electrical infrastructure and runs autonomously in the background, with no changes to your equipment, processes or schedules. Installation is planned around your operations; the final electrical tie-in may need one short, scheduled shutdown.

How much space does it take?

Less than one parking spot for most facilities. Each system is sized to the facility and installed outdoors on a compact pad, usually in a corner of a parking lot or yard; the exact footprint depends on system size and fire-code clearances, and we confirm the location with you during a site visit.

How long does the system last?

We deploy lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, a stable chemistry built for long service lives, around 15-20 years. EQORE monitors and maintains the system for as long as we operate it, and we coordinate the equipment manufacturers' warranties on your behalf.

What happens if EQORE's projections aren't achieved?

We model conservatively so that estimates hold up. Our projections are built on real facility data and validated in live operation. QoreAI re-plans the battery every 15 minutes from what it sees at your site, and you can follow performance in QoreApp. If something underperforms, we investigate. With shared savings, EQORE's return comes from the same realized savings you share in, so our incentives are aligned with yours.

Will it work with our existing solar?

Yes. QoreAI coordinates the battery with on-site solar, and in some programs adding storage to an existing array creates additional value. We review your solar system and interconnection as part of the assessment.

Which of these value streams apply to our facility?

It depends on your utility, tariff and location. In Massachusetts, a facility can combine demand-charge reduction with ConnectedSolutions and the Clean Peak Standard; in California, demand charges and time-of-use rates usually drive the value. EQORE handles program enrollment and dispatch and manages program revenue on your behalf. Your assessment shows which value streams apply to your site and what each one is worth.

Can the same battery give us backup power?

It can. Backup power is an option: with the right inverter configuration and electrical design, the battery keeps designated critical loads running during an outage. If backup matters to you, we scope it into the design.

How long does it take to get a system running?

Typically live in 3–6 months. Most of that time is design, permitting and utility interconnection, which EQORE handles for you. The work on site itself takes only days.

Is it safe? Will the fire marshal approve it?

Yes. Permitting and safety are a core part of our process. We deploy UL 9540-listed LFP systems tested to UL 9540A, design every installation to NFPA 855, and handle permitting, utility interconnection and fire-marshal (AHJ) approval for you before the system is energized.
