About the role

Every site we add means more data to check, more reports to send, and more steps to commission, verify, and bill. If people keep doing that work by hand, headcount grows with the fleet. This role exists to make sure it doesn’t: to turn the repetitive work behind operating systems and serving customers into software.

You’ll own QoreApp, customer reporting, delivery tools, and internal automation. You’ll sit with the people doing the work, find what slows them down, and ship the fix.

What you’ll do

  • Build and improve QoreApp, the dashboard customers use to see system performance and value.
  • Automate customer reporting, savings verification, and utility-bill review.
  • Build delivery tools for plan review, one-line diagrams, site evaluation, and commissioning.
  • Build interfaces around the work of our pricing, controls, and fleet engineers.
  • Find manual processes anywhere in the company and replace them with software.
  • Choose where AI is useful and add human checks where errors matter.

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years building production software, including Python and a modern frontend framework.
  • A record of shipping software on your own, from backend to interface.
  • Product judgment: you can turn an ambiguous complaint into the right tool.
  • Comfort with messy data and workflows that cross software and physical operations.
  • A bias toward simple systems, fast iteration, and measurable usefulness.

Nice to have

Energy or industrial data, internal tools for small teams, document automation, LLM workflows, data visualization, or software tied to physical systems.

Why EQORE

The future of energy is distributed. Commercial and industrial customers consume more than 65% of America’s electricity, yet less than 1% of recent battery deployments have gone to C&I sites. We are building the engine that closes that gap: not just the software that manages batteries, but the machine that sells, finances, and deploys them across the United States. Our goal is to become the largest deployer and manager of C&I energy resources in the world.

You make sure the hundredth site takes no more work than the tenth.
